The purpose of preschool education is to help the child meet their innate, cultural \u2013 including ethnic \u2013 social and cognitive needs. The educational process is focused on the child and their needs. Children are involved in creative, sporting, cultural and cognitive activities. A dynamic, informative and safe educational environment helps to ensure the child's all-round development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2666 Preschool education is divided into early age, from 1.5 to 3 years, and preschool age, from 3 to 6 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2666 Preschool education is carried out according to the Juodup\u0117 Nursery-Kindergarten preschool education programme &#8222;Versmel\u0117&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2666 Preschool education of children is delivered by a preschool teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2666 The main method of educating children is play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2666 The educational content is delivered throughout the child's time in the group: while communicating, playing, taking part in educational activities organised by teachers, eating, getting ready to rest and going outdoors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pre-primary education is provided to a child<\/strong> who turns 6 in that calendar year. At the parents' request, and where a psychologist has assessed the Child's maturity and established that a child who does not turn 6 in that calendar year is mature enough to learn under the pre-primary education programme, decisions on the child's further learning under the pre-primary education programme are made by the parents (guardians). Where a psychologist has assessed the child's maturity and established that the child is not mature enough to learn under the pre-primary education programme, education under that programme is not provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2666 Pre-primary education lasts one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2666 The school year begins on 1 September and ends on 30 May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2666 The programme is delivered by a pre-primary teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2666 The pre-primary education model is approved by Roki\u0161kis Town Municipal Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2666 Progress and achievements are assessed by the pre-primary teacher. The achievements of a child with special educational needs are assessed by the pre-primary teacher and the speech therapist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Education of children with special needs.<\/strong> Children with speech and developmental disorders are educated in an integrated manner at the nursery-kindergarten. Qualified support is provided to them by a speech therapist.
